The Nespresso Pixie Espresso Maker is hands down one of the best espresso Makers. With Amazon's recent price cuts, you can now get if for less than $200. Which is incredible if you ask me. It has the modern looks of most upscale Espresso Makers and simplicity we all look for in kitchen appliances.

I’m going to come right out and say that I love my Nespresso Pixie Espresso Maker, Aluminum. It’s great and I didn’t want to wait to the end of the article to tell you. For me it is pretty much perfect and I couldn’t be happier. So why do I say this:

1. Price

It’s reasonably priced, especially if you get it when it’s on sale when you can find it for less than $200. OK it’s not the cheapest machine on the market but per dollar I think it’s up there with the best. Also I use my machine A LOT and so I’m happy to pay for a high end machine, as I’m going to use it a lot.

2. Looks

It’s a really beautiful machine. It’s made from heavy duty plastic and aluminium so it’s got a real feeling of quality and that comes through in it’s appearance as well. The sides of the machine are aluminium but cleverly it’s slightly textured which means that all of the beautiful metal finish isn’t ruined by fingerprints the moment that you touch it.

It comes in a variety of colors so you can take your pick depending on what color your kitchen is. You can get silver, blue, red and green versions.

3. Speed

I’m not patient. Especially when I’m waiting for my first coffee of the day. This is a quick machine and you can be drinking your first espresso of the day within about a minute of turning it on which is pretty good.

4. Size

This is a small machine. It doesn’t take up half your kitchen counter but rather can be tucked away in a corner so that it’s convenient but isn’t always in the way.

5. Reliability and Ease of Use

So far I’ve never had a problem with my machine. It worked right out of the box and has just kept going. My water is very hard so it needs descaling every 4 or 5 months but that’s about it. The only niggle I’ve ever had with it is that the water tank can stick a little but given that that is my biggest grip it shows what a great machine it is.

6. Taste

I’m guessing that you may well already know about the Nespresso Pixie Espresso Maker, Aluminum if you’re interested in this machine. Lets be honest along with the caffeine the most important part of a coffee machine is how the end coffee tastes and I think this is a good as any coffee machine I’ve tried.

So there you have it. Why I love this machine so much.
