Maybe it’s the century old intense competition between DeLonghi and La Pavoni which led to the rise of the modern espresso machines.

What I Liked
When I first got my DeLonghi Lattissima Plus Nespresso out of the box, it took me a couple of minutes to gain my senses, because this was undoubtedly one of the most unusual looking espresso machines I ever laid my eyes on.
The only reason why I would call it unusual to look at despite being one of the best looking espresso machines out there in the market today, is only because it looking nothing like most of the espresso machines out there today.
The DeLonghi Lattissima Plus Nespresso does not have the ever so common metallic body or the usual pipes sticking out from its face, and I would have to admit that this unusual design of the Lattissima Plus did an excellent job of impressing me.
• Unable to hold my patience after gaining my senses, I got down to make my first cup of espresso with the Lattissima Plus. And to be honest, I was literally scared because I didn’t know what to expect from this unusual looking machine.
Filling the water and milk into the containers was simply a charm. I removed the top cover to get to the container without any trouble whatsoever and quickly filled it up to max capacity, so that I could get to the next part which is dreaded by any coffee connoisseur.
• For any coffee expert, inserting the coffee capsules in place is undoubtedly one of the most difficult jobs anyone can ever come across. But I was rather surprised with the ease the capsules could be placed into position with the DeLonghi Lattissima Plus Nespresso’s ability and the convenient 12 capsule holder and disposer, which removed the need for constantly removing and replacing the used capsules.
What I Didn’t like
I would have to admit that the DeLonghi Lattissima Plus Espresso Maker did everything right to impress me in the right way. But there were still a couple of things which did manage to rub me in the wrong way.
• The first thing which I did not like about the DeLonghi Lattissima Plus Nespresso would have to be the initial plastic taste that comes in your espresso, cappuccino’s and lattes.
• The second thing for me would have to be that the DeLonghi Lattissima Plus Nespresso is overall extremely fragile and a little added metal onto the body would have given it the required strength
After reviewing the machine in every possible way I would have to admit that if you don’t mind getting your hands dirty every now and then, then the DeLonghi Lattissima Plus Nespresso is undoubtedly one of the best espresso machines out there today. And it does an excellent job of giving you the best tasting coffee every single time.
